I have been on Finasteride for the past 6 months. I had a very good experience. I've been on the medication for the past 3 months and the results have been incredible. It is effective in the treatment of male pattern baldness. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of anything that you experience with Finasteride? If so, I would love to hear your experiences.

I can't wait to get back to using Finasteride and my hair has gone back to my regular growth cycle. I'm also on Propecia (Finasteride) and am currently on Zinc (Z-Pak). I have been on Propecia for 6 months and I have been taking Finasteride and Zinc for about a year. I was very pleased when I found out I was experiencing an increase in hair growth. My hair is thick and has been growing and I am hoping for some help to help. I am in my 20th year, so it was scary to realize how much more hair I have growing, and I am going to have to get my self back to my regular growth cycle.

The study, led by researchers at Brigham & Young University and the University of Pennsylvania, shows that finasteride causes androgenic alopecia, which means it helps to reverse the process of hair loss. Researchers say this is a major breakthrough in the fight against hair loss, and that more research is needed to confirm the results.”
The study has been conducted at the Brigham & Young University and the University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Hospital for two years, using a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 9,936 men who took finasteride for 5 years. The researchers found that men who took finasteride for a longer period had a higher risk of androgenic alopecia, compared with men who did not. The men taking finasteride for a longer time had a greater proportion of a population with androgenic alopecia, compared with the men who did not. The results showed that finasteride was more effective at preventing hair loss from the androgenic alopecia, but not the androgenic alopecia, in the men.”
The researchers also found that those who took finasteride were less likely to develop and maintain hair, but a higher proportion of men who were taking finasteride were losing hair. The researchers say the findings are significant, but also important to consider.”
The study was funded by Brigham & Young University. The research was led by Dr. David M. Johnson, who is the lead author of the study and has worked at Brigham & Young since 2004. He is the author of a 2020 book titledFinasteride and the American Hair Loss Association: Your Hair Loss Solution, published in theJournal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
